Required Qualifications:
• Working level agriculture work experience, including identifying native, non-native, and agronomic plants.
• Post-secondary courses related to Agriculture.
• Previous experience in writing training materials, reports.
• Class 5 Drivers’ License.
• Operate pesticide application equipment.
• Physically fit.
• Strong level of written communication skills including web-based communications
Preferred Assets:
• College diploma/University degree in Agriculture [eg. Biology, Environmental Studies, Horticulture, Soil Sciences or related major].
• Pesticide Applicator certification.
• Class 3 Drivers’ License.
• CPR/Standard first aid.
• Previous experience working in a municipality.
• Previous supervisory level experience.
• Resident of Alberta.
Starting Salary rate: $33.85/hr based on 8 hours per day, 44 per week, generally Monday to Friday, however, based on season/event planning on a weekend, overtime may be required on occasion.
