About Envu Canada’s Vegetation Management (VM) Division:

Envu VM is dedicated to providing practical solutions and innovations to individuals managing railways, roadsides, industrial sites, utility corridors, and pastures. Leveraging our dedicated vegetation management herbicides, we deliver results through innovative, long-lasting bare ground solutions and selective weed and brush control products.

Internship Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated second or third-year university student enrolled in a full-time scientific-related degree program to join our team as a Student Intern. This internship, spanning from May to August 2024, offers a unique opportunity to delve into herbicide development and sales while gaining hands-on experience in field research design, sampling, basic data collection, and analysis.

Key Qualifications:

Second or third-year university student in a full-time scientific-related degree program.

Familiarity with invasive species and grass identification.

Passion for research and effective science communication.

Great interpersonal skills.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.

Availability to travel within BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Alberta pesticide applicators license.

Experience with scientific trials and statistics.

Located in or around Calgary, Alberta.
